What does the Holy Spirit want Westwood Church to be?
Continuing our series in the Book of Acts, Phil walks through a good chunk of Acts 5 in four scenes. God's power shows up in signs and wonders, and that power catches the attention of the powers of the day. The apostles are jailed, set free by an angel, and sent straight back to the temple courts. Dragged before the Sanhedrin, they answer, "We must obey God rather than human beings." Flogged and released, they leave rejoicing and keep proclaiming Jesus day after day.
After each scene the room huddles around one question: Holy Spirit, what do you want Westwood Church to be? Ask it with us, and ask God which step He wants you to act on this week.
