Wycliffe Bible Translators
Kevin & Laurel Penner
Oaxaca, Mexico
In January 2003, Kevin and Laurel initiated a Bible translation project for the Ixtayutla Mixtec people in Oaxaca, Mexico. They live in a small village and work with the Mixtec translation team to help Mixtecs flourish using their native language and have their lives transformed through translated Scriptures. They also serve their field organization in Mexico in several other roles.
Please pray that…
- the Mixtec translation team will have health, motivation, wisdom, perseverance and provision
- Mixtec believers will make the translated scriptures an integral part of their lives
- they would have wisdom to know how to focus their time and energy to love God and their neighbours well

Rob & Marlene
Mongolia
Sandwiched between China to the south and Russia to the north, Mongolia is the most sparsely populated sovereign state in the world, with roughly 30% of its three million people living nomadically. Rob & Marlene founded and oversee the Trees of Life Center, providing discipleship and vocational training in permaculture for young adults. They are involved in the mentorship of local church leaders, and seek to build holistic, Gospel-centered communities through the practice of hospitality. Join the team by praying, giving, or serving. As we work together, Mongolia will know Jesus.

Wycliffe Bible Translators
Wayne & Val Dirks
Calgary, AB (serving globally)
Wayne and Valerie are helping with the huge task of ending Bible poverty by translating the Word of God into the languages of the world that don’t have it yet. Wayne works remotely on a team that programs custom scripture apps and websites so minority language groups can have their own scriptures on their own websites or apps. Val is the Director of Member Care for Wycliffe Canada, providing staff care and HR for Canadian Wycliffe missionaries living around the world.
